The WUMC 2012 Year in Review highlights the continued progress in the Forest Park Southeast and Central West End neighborhoods. Both neighborhoods continue to flourish and grow. In FPSE the new Aventura development is rising on the northern edge of the neighborhood, completing transforming Chouteau Avenue into a pleasant walkable urban vista. In the CWE, the Neighborhood Security Initiative continues to serve as an innovation leader in community safety. As we look back on 2012, all indications point to another banner year in community stabilization and development.
