Shop “Small Business Saturday” in Forest Park Southeast

“Small Business Saturday” is a national annual initiative to help raise awareness to independently owned businesses.  This year, we encourage you to “shop small” during one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year.

Forest Park Southeast along with the Grove entertainment/consumer district offers many unique and wonderful gifts that you simply can’t find at your local, overcrowded mall. Stop by one of our many independently owned restaurants for a gift certificate to give to that special someone on your list.  We also have numerous retail shops to explore as well. Who says you have to buy from a massive chain store?  Get your friends and family something new and fresh this year.

This year’s winners of the Neighborhood Business of the Year for the 17th ward, The Little Blaque Dress offers unique clothing, shoes and accessories all at budget friendly prices.  Their “Blaque Friday” sale is from 7am-11am offering up to 20% off store-wide.  All jewelry, including the styles from “Basketball Wives” and “Love & Hip Hop”, dresses, shoes and even SPANX shapewear will be on sale.
