Three years ago, Washington University Medical Center Redevelopment Corporation worked with a local artist to design and install the first Cor-Ten steel entry marker at periphery of Forest Park Southeast. Soon, discussion emerged about how to make the details and writing of the sign more legible and allow passer-bys to appreciate the sign’s unique characteristics. Local business, Space, recently fabricated and installed a white backdrop to the sign, improving the visibility of the details of the sign located at Tower Grove and Vandeventer Avenues. WUMCRC fully funded the design, fabrication and installation of the sign’s improvements.
What do you think of the improvement?
