Since the start of the major overhaul of Manchester Avenue in the Grove, WUMCRC has been around documenting these historic changes. Construction is currently in its seventh week and crews have worked their way westward along the north side of Manchester Avenue from Sarah Avenue to their current location between Arco Avenue and Tower Grove Avenue.
Along the way, sidewalks have been replaced and widened, bump-outs have been installed at intersections, older trees have been removed and electrical work has been laid in preparation for the new pedestrian lighting throughout the Grove District.
Take a look at the pictures we have compiled thus far, documenting all that has taken place in the first seven weeks of the project! And make sure you check back with us to stay up-to-date on the construction progress.
