For the past four years WUMCRC has worked with Saint Louis University’s Public Policy Studies Department for both on-site and remote technical assistance on various projects. This past September, WUMCRC is also working with Webster University as well for their first PR/Marketing intern position to assist in spreading the word about WUMCRC’s continued restoration with FPSE and CWE.
Also, we want to congratulate Vincent Haynes on his new position as commercial district manager at St. Louis Development Corporation. WUMCRC wishes him continued success with his career.
This school year we welcome:
Tara Bolen is currently a junior at Webster University getting her undergraduate degree in Advertising/Marketing Communications. As an intern, Tara will execute social media initiatives, community journalism, and assist in creating future brochure and newsletter designs to help keep the neighborhood informed about the work WUMCRC and help market the area as an exciting and safe place to live and work.
Enrique Flores is currently a first year graduates student at SLU in the Urban Planning and Real Estate Development program. As an intern with WUMCR Enrique will utilize GIS (geographic information systems) in order to undertake various research and mapping projects throughout the Forest Park Southeast community. His research interest include the development of sustainable communities through the use of green infrastructure.
