It is my privilege to be your Neighborhood Advocate! I am looking forward to all of the opportunities I have to connect with and serve the residents of Forest Park Southeast and Central West End Neighborhoods.
I am a native St. Louisan and I love it! I’m city proud and grew up in the Bevo Mill neighborhood. I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree, Majoring is Social Work from Fontbonne University. Currently, I’m a graduate student at Saint Louis University pursuing a Master’s in Social Work and in Public Administration. Professionally, I am interested in the criminal justice system and its influences on the community.
As your Neighborhood Advocate, my obligation is to increase neighborhood empowerment by actively supporting and participating in neighborhood/resident advocacy and outreach.
Outside of school and work my hobbies includes music, movies, books and spending time with family and friends. Also inspirational quotes motivate me. My favorite quote is:
“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
It helps me remember our community is interconnected by the individual and unique lives that create our vibrant communities.
