On Saturday, May 14th, the premiere professional bicycle racing event in the Midwest will be touring through the streets of Forest Park Southeast. And this second installment of the Tour de Grove will be bigger, better and faster than the year before!
With an impressive list of professional racers from around the world already committed (Italy, Russia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and USA), the race should be exciting for both the athletes and the fans. And the race itself won’t be the only exciting event of the day. Music, food, vendors, Artcrank, a bike expo, a 5k run, kid’s races, BMX bikers, street sprints and a Better Block installment will liven Forest Park Southeast all day long!
In recognition of the impact of such an exciting and large event in the neighborhood, Washington University Medical Center (a partnership between BJC HealthCare and Washington University School of Medicine) has paired with Emerson to serve as a co-title sponsor of the event. A race of this magnitude will bring fans, athletes and media into Forest Park Southeast and give them an opportunity to experience all the unique restaurants, bars and clubs, architecture, artwork and culture in the area.
