Remember that neon blue wig you have stashed away in storage? Well dust it off and head out to WigStomp Saturday, July 14 from 5pm-11pm, located in the Grove between Sarah and Talmage Avenue. It promises to be the “hottest” LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) street festival in St. Louis featuring drag queens, Go-Go Dancers, DJs, vintage clothing and a dance party in the street.
Wigs are a MUST as there will be cash prizes for best wig and best 60’s costume.
WigStomp is inspired from WigStock, an annual street festival of the LGBT community in the 1980s in New York’s East Village. The name references the 1969 Woodstock Festival.
